Vine Tomato Dinner Plate

A truss of six tomatoes still on the stem, painted straight down the middle of the plate. The red is built up in layers so the fruit has some weight to it, and the stems are drawn in a green that is nearly brown — the colour a vine actually is, not the colour people paint it.

The rim is a run of olive dashes, picked to sit with the stems rather than the fruit.
