Shipping
How long will it take?
Orders are picked and packed in 1 to 2 business days. After that, United States delivery is 5 to 8 business days on the free service and 2 to 4 on expedited. The rest of the world is 10 to 18 business days.
What does shipping cost?
Free to the United States. Expedited US shipping is 24.99 USD. Everywhere else is a flat 19.99 USD however much you order. The exact rate shows at checkout before you pay.
Will it survive the journey?
Every piece is inspected, then double-boxed with moulded inserts rather than loose fill. If something does arrive broken, send a photograph within 7 days and we replace or refund it — you keep the broken piece.
The pieces themselves
Is it really dishwasher safe?
Yes, all of it, and the microwave too. The painting is under the glaze and fired with it, so there is no surface layer for hot water to lift. None of it is ovenproof.
Will mine look like the photograph?
Close, but not identical. Each piece is painted freehand, so the motif sits a little differently and the rim strokes vary. That is the point of buying hand-painted rather than printed.
What are the sizes?
Dinner plates are about 26 cm across. Supper bowls are about 18 cm across and 6 cm deep, roughly 600 ml. The oval platter is about 38 by 28 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Do the plates stack?
Yes. The dinner plates stack flat and the two supper bowls nest into each other. The platter is the one piece that wants its own shelf.
Are they sold as sets?
No — everything is sold individually so you can mix them. Most people buy two or three different designs rather than four of one, and the range is drawn to work that way.
Is the glaze food safe?
Yes. The colours are ceramic pigments fired under a food-safe glaze. There is no metal, lustre or lead in the range.
Orders, returns and money
Can I change or cancel an order?
Email us as soon as you can. We can normally still help within a few hours of the order being placed — once a parcel is dispatched we cannot recall it, and the return policy applies instead.
What is the returns window?
30 days from delivery, unused and in its packaging. Email us first and we will send the return address. Full detail is in our Return and refund policy.
What currency are prices in?
United States dollars, including any applicable tax shown at checkout. Outside the US your country may add import duty or VAT on arrival, which is set by your government and not collected by us.
Is something out of stock?
Because each piece is painted by hand, a design occasionally runs out before the next batch is fired. Email us about a specific piece and we will tell you the actual date rather than a guess.
